Our prayer warriors prefer giving you answers gained through prayer and compassion rather than through emotions. Know that there are those who immediately begin praying for those faced with difficult situations. They wait to see who the Holy Spirit wants to respond to each individual. We learned recently of one of our young lady readers, Marleen, who lost her mother through suicide. We would like to know your thoughts about suicide...
How did you feel when you learned of those friends, family, or acquaintances who committed suicide?

Re: Suicide Questions I considered suicide numerous times. Each time I choose a method that would show people what knid of mess my life was in. Other times I choose things that would show how hard my heart was hurting. Finding the new moon laydown has helped me deal with a lot of the desire to commit suicide.

Re: Suicide Questions Alvin, Many of my friends simply chose a different name that they liked and went by that name whether or not their parents approved of it or not. And after 60 years the new names still stuck to them. Try finding a new name and see what happens.

Re: Suicide Questions When I was young, I tried to commit suicide three times. It was always fear that pushed me to try, it had nothing to do with courage. Most people who try to commit suicide have to much oppression from never having forgiven themselves.

Re: Suicide Questions When my best friend committed suicide , I felt rejected and betrayed. I am not sure that I have forgiven her even after 6 years. She killed herself because the pastor told her God did not want her and would never forgive her. I know I never forgave him for trying to seduce her.

My choice to remain in unforgiveness toward a superior in the ministry as I worked as a pastor in France in 1973 caused me to be in prison with the tormentors of unforgiveness. Fifteen years later this unforgiveness opened the door to torment in the form of Legionnaire's disease, which came within three hours of killing me. The insult on the brain because of the lack of oxygen and a family witchcraft curse of manic depression caused a doubly powerful mental illness that separated me from my family and temporarily destroyed my ministry and finances. I came extremely close to suicide on four occasions. The demons of oppression, dismay, despair, and discouragement, which combine to create depression, opened the door to the spirit of suicide that I had claimed as a god in my life in the early 1980's. Those of you who have been attacked with this spirit or who have mourned close ones who have committed suicide are blessed to know what I did not know then: on the new moon you can lay down long-term pains, burdens, and traumas to Jesus and leave them with Him, asking your Father for the spirit of forgiveness, to forgive others, Him, and the most difficult of all, yourself. Today my mom died of aids and a liver desease. I am now 17 years old and without parents. Does this mean that God hates me?

I am told that I look like some uncle I never met and that I will kill myself just like he did. 5 of my relative have committed suicide in the last 22 years. They say I next. Do you think that encouragement from great aunts could be the source of the problem?

Re: Suicide Questions My great aunt on my moms side, came into my bedroom when I turned six. She killed a chicken over me and read the signs in the blood. She said I would kill myself by the time I was 16. Which is less that a year away. Is there someone to stop what she said from happeneding? I do not want to commit suicide.

Whatever wierd choices your parents made with their life is not grounds for how God see you. And because they did something stupid does not mean that you are forced to take the same path. It is time to forgive your parents, forgive yourself for your self condemnation, and forgive God for not following your program of how you thought that things should be worked out. I am in my mid to late 60's, and life is still exciting and worthwhile. You are special, and if you tried and failed it could be thatthere are some things that you are to accomplish on this earth. There is so much to do and accomplish and so manythat I am sure would like to have a friend like you. You have found or were led to this site for a reason, so you canlearn so much and be a blessing to others. If it wasn't for my grandfather, I do not think that I would be alive today. Even an attempt to burn the house down did not phase them. I figered that if I do not belong, I do not exist. Re: Suicide Questions Conrad H. In todays society children are possessions not people. My father treated me like that, and when he got tired of having me around he shot me. I found that Jesus gave me a sense of belonging and of being loved. I have never let him go. And He sure helps when dealing with the rejection.

Re: Suicide Questions Clinton, I am not an expert on these matters but it realy sounds like someone is praying wrong prayers for the single men in your area. I would confess that I forgive them, then take a communion service for breaking off and rejecting all wrong prayers and curses that may have come your way. Let us know if that works.

When someone wants to die it is wrong to come against their will (it is witchcraft) and it is also wrong to aid in a suicide (it is murder). However, there is a prayer of release that you can do that gives her permission to go. As soon as we verify the wording we will post the prayer for you. We ask God to bless you with peace in your heart and soul. Blessings of peace to all of your family.

No food unless you eat dead people, and no hope of a rescue before spring. It would seem like a very good Idea to kill oneself rather than strave to death or eat dead bodies.

Re: Suicide Questions Curtis,These are unusual situations that you would not get into if you were a believer who claims and receives God's protection. In such a hypothetical situation, we know that nothing is impossible with God. At the same time our level of faith would enter into what solution we would choose. Such a suicide, if that were the choice, would not be acceptable to God, but since He is extremely merciful, you would not be condemned eternally for such a choice. A Christian is such a case would be judged by a merciful Jesus who would probably resurrection him or her in the second resurrection, without the reward of being His bride but still in the Family of God. When a believer is close to God and walking with Jesus, those situations would most probably not occur, and if they did, God would provide a way of escape in the trial so it would not be unbearable (1 Cor. 10:13). That's why we pray, "Lead us away from temptation, and deliver us from evil and the evil one" (Matthew 6). Sin is never acceptable to God, only forgivable.

A Christian is such a case would be judged by a merciful Jesus who would probably resurrection him or her in the second resurrection, without the reward of being His bride but still in the Family of God. When a believer is close to God and walking with Jesus, those situations would most probably not occur, and if they did, God would provide a way of escape in the trial so it would not be unbearable (1 Cor. 10:13). That's why we pray, "Lead us away from temptation, and deliver us from evil and the evil one" (Matthew 6). Sin is never acceptable to God, only forgivable.

Both of her eyes were attacked which is unusual, she is nearly blind in one eye and has limited side vision in the other. She recently had a heart attack caused by her heart beat slowing down to 30, so she now has a pacemaker. She wants the doctor to take it out so she can die. There is hope and reason to live Amanda, for you are greatly loved and have a glorious future ahead of you. Forgive your mom, she was speaking emotionally and probably never gave it another thought. Ask your Father in heaven for the gift of forgiveness, then speak the words out loud that you do forgive her and forgive yourself for accepting satan's lies, and living in his darkness. Jesus is Light and Love and He has brought you to this sight to find out who you really are. You are God's daughter, 1 Peter 2:9 tells you that you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, (we are kings & priests,) part of a holy nation and part of His own special people. It normally comes from a husband that is divorced because of abusive senility. She feels abandoned from her family, too old to be useful or loved anymore, and she feels that she is a burden. She has to agree to break off the wrong evaluation of herself.

There are prayers for the release of a soul from disfunctional body, how ever they are normally used by believers. I do not recommend the unplugging just for the purpose of unplugging. Commas from brain injury have been known to recover upto 20 years after the accident. I would have believers pray first.

If you tell them you want to live and break the pact, they might feel betrayed, yet they shall live too.
