Do you think men in the church are more prone to have the C-S conditon? It seems that all the single men that I have ever met are caught in this syndrome.

Dear Alvea,

When a father leaves to go away on a journey or to work it is hard for the children and the wife. The the wife and children want their real, happy father, the one that reads them stories, fixes their bikes, hugs them, taking them in the canoe. They don't miss the demons that attack him that bring insecurity, anger, unforgiveness, false accusations, major disruptions, yelling, and complaining. They want to love their father and feel secure in that love. They want him happy because they love him and it brings them such joy to see their father happy but if he can't be happy they settle for a rest from the demons. The children need a time of refreshing and they need to be taught how to lay down all their pains, fears, fale accusations etc. down to Jesus.

Dylan, Your friend is lost in the effects of the C-S condition. And his father is pushing his pain onto his son. He wants suicide because he is seeking to get even with his father.The accidents and the breakdowns are always attracted by anger rage. Illogical reasoning is so common that they sabotage themselves and blame everyone else. It is why forgiveness is so important and so strongly needed.

My husband is constantly cursing the weather, the government, his children, his boss, and his father. Could he be a victim of this C-S condition?

Barbara, It is true that a lot of men with C-S condition tend to hang around churches trying to find a mate that can tolerate them. It is also true that because the weak of the world are called more often, that they gather there in order to feel superior to everybody and thankful that they were not made like other men. They are not good choices for husbands until they turn stuff over and become healed by Jesus.

Colleen, Your husband is showing all the signs of being caught up in that C-S condition. You forgot to mention his cursing of you. You need to learn how to break off these curses against you and your children. And you need to seek the Fathers grace to be able to forgive him. He has also made you a victim and the children.

I am 17 years old and after school I work until 12 oclock to 1:00AM. I normally get up at 7:00Am to go to school. Today my dad tried getting me up at 4:30 AM. I refused to get up so he urinated all over my school clothes. He does not want me to attend university next fall. I have been working and saving for it, not him. Is this not good grounds to hate him. He also makes me pay one half of the costs in keeping our home.

Mandee, Your dad isoverwhelmed by fears. He fears that you will have more educatin than he has, that you will have more money than he ever had, and he fears that you are a better person than he is. You will have to answer these fears in away that he will understand before there will be peace and emotinal support in your hour. And forgive him for he does not know what he is doing.

Josh, The transferrance of anger rage and unforgiveness is very common, it mostly happens to a wife and the to the eldest son. However it has been known to show up as severe abuse to a younger brother.

Sumjah, hatred is something people rely on because of unforgiveness. Your father has been hurt and chosen not to forgive anyone, including you, so he hates everyone. You cannot love without forgiving. I suggest you read the articles about forgiveness on freedomchurchofgod.com and ask God for His grace of forgiveness. Then start with forgiving your father for what he put you through because of his unforgiveness. Shalom

Cole C. Thank you for your help as it allows me to understand my older brother a lttle better. He cannot get back at my dad, so he has been tormenting me no end. He ript uyp all the pictures in my photo album. Is there a way of directing his anger some place else?

I would like to know is it harder on the boys or the girls when their father is acting up under the C-S condition? How do parents teach their children to walk in confidence when their child feel like they are under attack from an angry father?

I hate my father for the evil things he does to my mom and me. We only have peace when we can get him out of the house. Am i heading down this path to the C-S condition or am just being self defensive?

Do those with the C-S condition start to act up more intensely when we get closer to Christmas. I know that my uncle is more intollerable and is always trying to start arguements and fights at every opportunity.

Howard, I am not a woman and I have seen an expirienced this C-S condition first hand. The existance of C-S condition is a provable condition. A womans imagination has nothing to do with it. However your denial and excuse making is very much systoms of this condition.

My dad came home from working up north for 5 weeks. I have never seen him so angry. He was cursing everyone and everything. He declared that he was going to kill grandpa if he ever shows he face in our house again. We have not seen or heard from grandpa for nearly a year. Has this C-S condition got into him, or is he just in the christmas spirit?

How is a 14 year old suppose to react when my dad and grandpa always argue and try to compete with one another? And I seem to suffer most in the troubles they have with each other. My dad even tried to rape me after his last encounter with grandpa. Mom knocked him out before he could do anything. I have no place where I could move to at this time.

My children have started saying that they hate their father and wish that he would never come home again. I know that he has been excedingly mean to them since he lost his job on the 23 of Dec., but the come into some sort of enchanted song when ever he comes home. Are my children somehow possessed? What can I do?

You asked how you can tell if your boyfriend has the C-S syndrome. One of the biggest indicators is that he would always talk about himself. His problems are bigger than anyone elses and his accomplishements are always better and bigger. You will also hear how he conquered and overpowered people who supposedly where treating him badly. This talk will be constant. Another indication is if there is always competition between you and them. They always can wash the dishes better, clean anything better, play a game better, skate better, swim better and on and on. If they have a serious case of it they will not ask you about your day or if they do and you mention anything that is wrong they will cut off the conversation and tell you to do something about it. When it is them you are to appease them, tenderly considering every hurt and evil done to them and then you are to fix their problem. If you come against them in anyway the anger rage will flare instantly. May you be blessed with wisdom, understanding, discernment and Godly boldness.

Howard - as you have indicated there are alot of reprocussions and to believe that it is all from unforgiveness seems impossible BUT unforgiveness is a root and the reprocussions are the huge bush that grows from it. That root of unforgiveness caused the first shoot and then that shoot brings in more unforgiveness and problems and it just keeps on growing. The indication that it could be the womans imagination isn't possible because the pain and distruction are unimaginable. Saying that it could be the womans imagination is like if I took a cast iron frying pan and hit you on the head and then told you it was your imagination.

Alec L. your mom knocked your dad out before he could do anything! You are blessed with a mother who will defend you. Congratulate your mother for me. It sounds like you and your mom need to find another place to live.

Alec L., I agree with Charlene, give your mom a big hug of thanks. She should get a restraining order against your father and get him to move out until he comes to Jesus and learns how to deal with his father. And I would add to learn to be a father to you instead of a abuser. He needs your forgiveness and you need to be forgiving, but that does not mean stupid.

Dolly, Your dad not only has the C-S condition, he has no identity, and he is feeling guilty because of his lack of love and his desire to be in the christmas spirit. His desire to kill his father means that he is in a very dangerous stage of this C-S condition. If your mom will not kick him out for your protection, see if she can find some safe place for you to stay. From this stage murdering the family is not far off. We pray for you to have the necesary wisdom and strength to do what is necesary.

Howard, Everyone claims what they think is right in their own eyes. But according to God's standard, you are anything but perfect and anything but normal. Get to know Jesus and learn his word and then we can talk further.
