Charles Stanley. Run Time - 0:40 --------------------------------------
The teachings continue looping in the above order.
Our programming schedule often includes anointed men and women of God whom we respect and from whom we learn much. We do not necessarily agree, however, with every word they say, especially when it comes to using the word "Lord," which is an incorrect translation used in many versions of the Bible. (Why? Read more HERE)
We acknowledge that you need in some cases immediate answers of reassurance. Please know that you are being prayed for. When we receive news like some of you submit, it takes time for us deal with the shock and pain the losses cause us. Our prayer warriors prefer giving you answers gained through prayer and compassion rather than through emotions. Know that there are those who immediately begin praying for those faced with difficult situations. They wait to see who the Holy Spirit wants to respond to each individual. We thank you for your understanding and patience.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Garth,God's standards are high. It's a matter of wanting with all our hearts and by God's power, not ours, to reach those standards. It's not a matter or necessarily reaching absolute perfection in this life, as Paul expresses so eloquently (Phil. 3:7-21). Please read it, and notice verse 15, where the word perfect is better translated as "mature," and notice that it's a matter of attitude, a matter of the heart. We are all at some times condemned by the exacting standard of perfection, but then we go to the Perfect One who gave His perfect Son to die for us and live in us, and we are washed clean and perfect in God's sight once again because of Jesus. Garth, why do you make such a comment? Examine yourself. Do you find God's standard too hard?Jesus said through John that His commandments were not a burden, but a blessing when we let Jesus in us keep them (I John 5:3). Is anything too hard for God? Does God live in you? Then why do you say it's too hard for you and everyone? Speak for yourself. Give up your reasoning and accept the truth. No one has to be a lazy believer.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? I think that I am a lazy believer because I never realy feel forgiven nor to I ever expirience the joy of Jesus the way I see other people do so. Do you think that means that I am lost?

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Lazy believers do not seem to be willing to stand firm on anything but are willing to compromise everything. They confuse God's mercies which are new every morning with God's acceptance of their sinning.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? I am wondering what the spell of seduction would do in making believers lazy? Would having warlocks for pastors not also increase the odds of laziness?

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Gerry the spell of seduction is very effective because the hearts of the believer is not on their first love, Jesus. They are quickly seduced to love traditions and doctrines of demons instead of Jesus. Then when the spell of slumber is placed upon them, then become lazy and unwilling to love Jesus and the Father above all else. The warlock pastors just add to and maintain their spells. lies and deceptions. Thanks for the good question.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Deanna, I am shocked that no one bothered to answer you. The first thing that needs correcting is that you have been comparing yourself with others. This is a very serrious mistake as it leads you into judgementalism, legalism, hatred, anger rage, undermining and degrading. Jesus said that you are not wise to compare yourself with anyone but Him as He is your grace for all impowerments. You have been looking to yourself to make and enforce changes, not Jesus. This does not make you lazy, but it will make you stupid and fall asleep on the way to the wedding. If you do not move to seek to know Jesus better and let him in to clean your heart, (with new moon laydowns,) then you will be lost because of your choices not because of Jesus.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? How can a person possibly fall asleep on the way to their own wedding. You might die of over excitement but to go to sleep just seems to impossible.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Joyce N. When one does something out of love or out of lust they are hot and would never sleep. When one does something because it is their assigned job, duty, or requirement, then it is very easy for one to fall asleep. As most christians have lost their first love, everything that they do is a boring assignment or duty, therefore it is very easy for themto fall asleep.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Steve, Modern day christians are using God's mercies and grace as a carte blanche for sinning, negligence, ignorance and stupidity. Laziness is all they seem to seek as comfort while they claim that they are at rest. They are so occupied with being lazy that they have no time to be believers.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? I have never been sure that I can fully trust God because He let my parents abandond me and forsake me. I have had trouble thinking of Him as faithful to his word because I know that I was rejected as a daughter and a part of my parents. Would that make me a lazy believer?

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Could a person become a lazy believer when they declare their disbelief over some part of God's word? Could the loss of a point of truth create a barrior to growth until they deal with the point of disbelief?

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Judy, I have been praying about your question as it realy interested me. A person can easily become a lazy christian by declare disbelief. They have set their faith and trust in the Father aside everytime that they declare disbelief in anything to do with God. It is a barrior or blockade that stops all growth and desire for growth in Jesus.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Jaylene D, Jesus gave everyone a free will choice, you parents chose very badly and with great selfishness. He has given you a choice as to what you want to do with your life. You can waist it on a life of regrets or you can learn to walk with Him and be more than you can even imagine at this time. Living your life because of loss or regrets from the past is foolishness and it is crippling when you hold onto you pain and make unforgiveness your god. So yes you are at this place in time a lazy believer who has the opportunity of change and becoming a victor.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Venessa, It is true that unresolved conflict does cause a type of laziness. But is also true is that they do not want to do what Jesus told them to do. Prove all things and hold fast that which is true. They only want to believe what is spoon fed to them so that they do not have to work at proving anything.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Dervon,That is certainly part of the problem, as the context of Hosea 4:6 explains. Jeremiah 10 says the pastors are stupid.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? I know alot of pastors who have so many distractions from their church membership that they have no time to themselves, no time to pray and certainly no time to study the word of God. They are thus forced to rehash other pastors sermons rather than teach what the Holy Spirit would have lead them to teach. I think that it is the demands of lazy believers that causes a pastor to become lazy and stupid in their duties.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Dustin and Dale,This is exactly what Jesus said would happen in Matthew 25. He would delay and Christians would fall asleep, some tired of waiting on Him and others giving up hope that He is even coming back.

Re: Are You a Lazy Believer? Lenny,Yes, lazy believers fall easily asleep in church, allowing various demons such a slumber to attack them. They submit easily to these attacks.
