Our programming schedule often includes anointed men and women of God whom we respect and from whom we learn much. We do not necessarily agree, however, with every word they say, especially when it comes to using the word "Lord," which is an incorrect translation used in many versions of the Bible.

Rekindle the Fires of Love!
By Charley West
Has your marriage lost the fire of romance? You need to try Charley’s inspired recipe for fanning the flames of love that have become embers in a near-dead marriage. His solution begins with something you can do that will take only 15 seconds a day! As the song says, have you lost that lovin’ feelin’? You can get it back! You can get back to your first love, that zing in your relationship you used to have. As the movie Fireproof demonstrates, it takes perseverance, but it can be done. Make Jesus the foundation of your marriage, and trust in Him to put more logs on the fire that has waned. Even if only one mate listens to “Rekindling a Marriage,” you can see miraculous changes in your relationship. If practiced, this message is a guaranteed divorce lawyer repellent!

Why Marriage?
By Robert Scott
Why did God institute marriage in the first place? Wouldn’t shacking up with whomever you lusted after do the same job? Why two becoming one instead of five or six wives for one man, or seven men for one woman? Why is marriage more than a piece of paper? The purpose of marriage has much to do with the first three covenants God made with Adam and Eve in the first hour of the first Sabbath. When we understand the dominion, Sabbath, and marriage covenants, we can begin to understand why God made mankind male and female and decreed His perfect will – one man and one woman united with God in a three-dimensional relationship. When you understand “God’s Purpose for Marriage,” you can defeat divorce and have a marriage overflowing with joy!

Forgiving a Mean, Selfish Husband
By Lynda Scott
Wives, is that the kind of husband you have? You need God’s grace to forgive. You can reverse what happened in the Eden episode of Adam and Eve and the serpent. Find out what makes a mean, selfish husband – and more importantly – how your forgiveness and the light of Jesus in you can turn him into a generous, kind, compassionate, and noble man who warms your heart. Lynda takes us back to the Garden of Eden to explain the roots of male selfishness and how to forgive your “Adam.”

The Anatomy of a Divorce – Being Offended
By Gerald Budzinski
Does your mate often offend you? You’re building a house of demonic strongholds that will one day destroy your marriage if you don’t deal with the problem. With guidance from the Holy Spirit, Gerald deals first with offense in a general way, and then he explains how offense in a marriage leads inevitably to divorce if not checked in time. This is the most insightful teaching on divorce and how to prevent it that we have ever presented, and it is probably the most profound analysis of the process of divorce ever given. We plan to present the transcript of this amazing revelation on our A-Z topics section soon at www.freedomchurchofgod.com. Don’t be offended by “Being Offended.” It could save your marriage.

How to Make Your Husband Know He is Forgiven
By Charlene Bishop
A wife needs to be led by the Holy Spirit to make her husband know she has truly forgiven him. She must control her feelings when her man attacks her and the marriage in various ways. Walking in God’s love and forgiveness can be a real challenge with some husbands (we can hear a number of wives respond with resounding agreement)! Taking a bathroom prayer break in the middle of a heated conversation with an angry husband could give both you and your husband a moment of reflection that could change the tone of the discussion. When you employ God’s grace of forgiveness, and the light of Jesus shines through you, your example can soften the hard heart of a belligerent husband. You can defeat divorce with the love of God.

Cultivate Your Marriage Garden Now!
By Robert Scott
Don’t wait till tomorrow to start working on your marriage. Procrastination has caused many a divorce. One of the last demons released in the demonic destruction of a marriage is murder. And many a marriage has ended in the murder of one mate by the other. While the “do or die” scenario is not always the case, listening to “Best Before Death” will show you what the Bible says about procrastination in general. Learning to seize the day can also save your marriage.

A Marriage Made in Heaven
By Joyce Gingerich
Some marriages are not so heavenly. Our resident encourager, however, shows how marriage can be a blessing for both mates in “Blessings for a Husband and Wife.” Concentrating on the positive by practicing Philippians 4:8 is the key. Don’t produce a rundown marriage by running down your mate. Bless your partner! Joyce is also our resident rapper, and once again she lifts our spirits with her lyrics.
