Father Love,

 

We thank You that You give your covenant believers “favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52) and that You will “faithfully bring forth justice” (Isa. 42:3b). We call on You to remember Your covenants of love with us and we say, “Rise up, O Judge of the earth, Render recompense to the proud…[the wicked oppress] the widow and the stranger And murder the orphans” and say You don’t see, but You do see and “will not abandon [Your] people…For judgment will again be righteous” (Ps. 94:2,6,14-15). “Arise, [Yahovah]…lift up Your hand, Do not forget the afflicted” (Ps. 10:12). Our righteous Judge Jesus “executes justice for the oppressed [and]… sets the prisoners free…protects the strangers. He supports the fatherless and the widow, But He thwarts the way of the wicked” (Ps. 146:7,9). He “preserves the souls of His godly ones; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked” (Ps. 97:10). He will “decide with [justice] for the afflicted…” (Isa. 11:4). Your favor is upon us and You surround us “with favor as with a shield” (Ps. 90:17; 5:12). Arouse Yourself for us, for “You have appointed judgment…Vindicate [us]…according to [our] righteousness [in Jesus] and our integrity…[You save] the upright…God is a righteous judge” (Ps. 7:6-11). The blood of Jesus is against the defeated Satan (Rev. 12:11). “You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart [and]…vindicate the orphan and the oppressed, So that man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror” (Ps. 10:17-18). “Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?” (Gen. 18:25). “Vindicate [us]…and plead [our] case against an ungodly nation [and]… deliver [us] from the deceitful and unjust man! … O send out Your light and Your truth” (Ps. 43:1,3). You are a Father to the fatherless, a Judge for the widows, and You make a home for the lonely and lead out the prisoners into prosperity (Ps. 68:5-6). You judge with equity, putting down one and exalting another (Psalm 75). You “will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper. He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save. He will rescue their life from oppression and violence…” (Ps. 72:12-14). “You drew near when [we] called on You; You said, ‘Do not fear!’…You have pleaded my soul’s cause; You have redeemed my life” (Lam. 3:57-58). You “will bring forth [our] righteousness as the light And your judgment as the noonday” (Ps. 37:6). Your covenant promise is sure: “No man will be able to stand before you; [I] will lay the dread of you…on all the land on which you set foot…”(Deut. 11:25). We shall not fear, for our might Warrior Yashua fights for us (Zeph. 3:16; Deut. 3:22). You keep “the feet of Your godly ones [but]…Those who contend with [Jesus] will be shattered” (I Sam. 2:9-10). We choose to forgive all our oppressors, giving our pain to Jesus, and we leave all vengeance to You (Heb. 10:30). We thank You for the grace to speak Your words in steadfast thanks so that all who hear us will be “unable to cope with wisdom and the Spirit” with which we speak (Acts 6:10). We thank You, Father Love, that You always lead us in victory in Yashua Nissi, our Banner (II Cor. 2:14). In Jesus’ name,
